What:  The Washington DC Unit is hosting an Airstream Rally at Crawfish Fest 2008 in NJ.  All RV'ers who are reading this are welcome.  We have worked it out with the festival organizer to coordinate all Airstreamers into the same camping area - Camp Madisonville.  This area of the fairgrounds offers electric hook-up service and a local dump station.

Where: Sussex County Fairgrounds - Augusta, NJ

When: May 30 June 1

Why:  Good times - with the Funky Meters are around - there's bound to be good times

Special for festival RV'ers only is a private concert on Friday night featuring New Orleans own Radiators -- how perfect is that - radiators - get it?!?!  Also on the Friday private party bill is the very dance friendly Donna The Buffalo and Mitch Woods.  Included in Friday nights private party is an all you can eat Jamalaya dinner.  Click here for the weekend music line-up.

It is worth noting that this event is for music lovers, and is not an inexpensive Rally weekend.  You are paying for the music AND the camping.  The sign-up and payment process can be as easy or complicated as you want it to be.  All sign ups and payments will be made directly to the fesitval through their website at http://www.crawfishfest.com.  Crawfish Fest '08 offers a stellar line-up with the best that New Orleans and Louisianna has to offer.

Note about payment - you will need to purchase two items - Festival tickets for you and yours AND a weekend camping pass for the festival.  I can tell you last years event was very hot and my AC unit was running all weekend long - if you like AC when it's hot our - go for the 30 amp service.

Crawfish Fest is a true delight.  ALL the ingredients are there for a really special weekend with a little BAM thown in.  The festival offers a family friendly environment with the best music and food in the mix.
